BPMN Modeler Overview

The BPMN Modeler displays the process in "Business Process Model and Notation" (BPMN) representation and allows interactive manipulation of the graph. The shown BPMN can be exported as SVG or BPMN file. Selections from the mpmX ProcessAnalyzer can be transformed into the BPMN-Modeler with the "Update View" button.

Create a BPMN from the ProcessAnalyzer

  1. Make your selections in the ProcessAnalyzer
  2. Click “Update View” in the left BPMN-Modeler Toolbar
  3. The view will be stored in local storage and can be changed with another selection and click on "Update View".

💡 Note: If a BPMN file is imported, the BPMN-Modeler will show the imported file instead of the current process. See more under Conformance Checking.

The "Switch BPMN" button allows you to switch between the imported and the current BPMN from the ProcessAnalyzer.

The Header bar shows which BPMN is shown (generated or imported) and shows the number of process variants and number of cases for the generated BPMN.

The edit palette is hidden by default and can be shown with the button in the toolbar.
