What are extensions?

Extensions can be several different things:

• a widget library,
• a custom theme, or
• a visualization extension, used to visualize data, like in an interactive map where you can select different regions.

The following sections help you to better understand the extensions included in mpmX with regard to visualizations and properties. The extensions are explained with reference to their English properties, nevertheless, the mpmX Extensions support English, German, and Spanish depending on the Browser language.
