mpmX Solution Scope

Here are the mpmX core components and vizualisations.

mpmX Template App​

  • The mpmX Template App provides default analytics and a script template to create the target data model from an event log (see the Data Engineer Guide for more detail on deploying it).
  • The mpmX Template App is delivered in two versions.
    • One version supports Multilanguage use (mpmX Template App Multilanguage) where the front end labels and measures change their language according to a button-selected language - the delivered default languages are English, Spanish and German, adaption to further languages is easy.
    • The other version is a single language app, translated from the multilanguage app. To get a single-language app-version contact your mpmX account manager.

mpmX Process Mining Algorithms​

  • mpmX's process mining algorithms provide a visualization of the process, process metrics (PPIs), process predictions, root cause analysis, and Conformance Checking.

    • mpmX Basic Functions: Contains information files for the mpmX extension

    • mpmX BPMN-Modeler: Interactive component to display the process in BPMN representation

    • Grouped Container: Group Qlik objects within a visual container

    • mpmX Lead Time Filter: Interactive component to define a subprocess to see it‘s lead time

    • mpmX ProcessAnalyzer: Interactive process visualization

    • mpmX QueryBuilder: Interactive component to create process patterns that can be searched and displayed in the ProcessAnalyzer

    • mpmX ProcessActivityFilter: Interactive component to choose activities that should or should not be part of the process variant you would like to see

    • mpmX ProcessModeler: Interactive ad-hoc modeling component to create a single happy path that is displayed in the ProcessAnalyzer to show deviations

    • mpmX ProcessVariantsInspector: Interactive component to analyze process variants and find out about patterns in your processes

Event Log Generation APPs (optional)​

mpmX EventLogGeneration Apps with rule engine to extract event logs directly from data sources such as MES, CRM or ERP systems

Business APPs (optional)​

Business Apps (e.g. order to cash, purchase to pay, logistics, production, ...), provide concepts and best practice models for combining classic BI cockpits with process insights.

The data formats or source systems that can be analyzed with mpmX are those that Qlik Sense® processes as well. Hence, the range of possible data sources is broad. Qlik Sense® accepts, among others, data formats like XLSX, XML, CSV and offers various connectors. The most commonly used are the SAP or Salesforce connectors and the ODBC based querying of SQL data bases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, DB/400, PostgreSQL, MySQL). MEHRWERK also offers a self-developed Qlik® connector for SAP Cloud solutions like SAP Business ByDesign or SAP C/4HANA.
